ANNOUNCEMENTS:

♦ PRESIDENT CHRISTA reported that $251.45 was raised by eating at Applebee's last week. What an easy way to raise funds for our projects!

♦ From JACQUELINE COONEY, President of Rotaract: "We have decided on the "Bowl for Kids Sake" fundraiser (benefiting Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Lafayette) for our Rotary/Rotaract Social. The tournament will be on March 6th in the Purdue Union Rack and Roll Bowling Alley. I think it will be a lot of fun and I know we are all excited to finally meet some Rotarians! As of right now the time is TBA but I will let you know as soon as I find out. There is a parking garage right next to the Union, which is free on weekends, and has an underground tunnel which connects directly to the entrance of the bowling alley. The Rotarians may either get five people together or if someone can send me a list of who all is participating I can put together teams. Personally I would prefer if I just got a list of all participating so that I can mix and match teams, that way the Rotarians and Rotaractors can bowl with each other and have time to socialize together." Jacqueline's e-mail address is:

♦ Members who can help with follow-up calls to companies are requested to contact CHRISTA.

♦ The Rotary International Convention is in Montreal in June. Registration forms are available on the back desk. Montreal is a marvelous city and on this continent. This is an opportunity to experience the wonderful world of Rotary in a few days.

♦ JACK KELLEY will accept donated shoes and glasses until spring break.

♦ It's time to be thinking about the Vocational Service Award. The Application form accompanies this newsletter and will be available at the back desk next week. Down load a copy of the form in WORD here Or as PDF here.
