ANNOUNCEMENTS: |
♦ President CHRISTA KECK reported that she counted at least 42 Rotarians and
their guests at Applebee's last night on the West side. Applebee's took in
$1,479.00 and we received a check for $221.89. Thank you to all who
participated.

♦ From JACQUELINE COONEY, President of Rotaract: "We have decided on the
"Bowl for Kids Sake" fundraiser (benefiting Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Lafayette)
for our Rotary/Rotaract Social. The tournament will be on March 6th in the
Purdue Union Rack and Roll Bowling Alley. I think it will be a lot of fun and I know
we are all excited to finally meet some Rotarians! As of right now the time is TBA
but I will let you know as soon as I find out. There is a parking garage right next
to the Union which is free on weekends, and has an underground tunnel which
connects directly to the entrance of the bowling alley. The Rotarians may either
get five people together or if someone can send me a list of who all is
participating I can put together teams. Personally I would prefer if I just got a list
of all participating so that I can mix and match teams, that way the Rotarians and
Rotaractors can bowl with each other and have time to socialize together."
