JOHN COREY introduced Randy Williams, President and C.E.O. of Lafayette Savings Bank. Rotarians JOHN COREY and DANA SMITH are two of eleven presidents of the bank, which was founded by John Purdue in 1869. The bank is primarily in the business of lending. Randy compared Main Street banks to Wall Street banks using several charts and many statistics. He also emphasized that character still counts. Community involvement is natural and customer service is key.

LIZ SOLBERG, with assistance from ED HEMMER, introduced Rachel Copper and Clayton Oppy from McCutcheon High School. Clay mentioned his football "camp created for developmentally disabled boys and girls in grades 6-12." Look at the site here.
