    ANNOUNCEMENTS:

    ♦ PRESIDENT CHRISTA announced that as of the end of November 29% of our club (62 members) had contributed to Rotary International's Every Rotarian Every Year program. That gives us an average of $39.86 per member toward a goal of $100.00 per member.

    ♦ Saturday, December 12th at 9:30 A.M. we will be packing Christmas boxes for the Women's Shelter at the YWCA. Please sign up if you can help.

    ♦ The Annual Lafayette Rotary Club Belling Ringing Day for Salvation Army will be on Saturday, December 12, from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at nine locations across town. The schedule will be on the web site if you have forgotten when and where you should be. THANK YOU for your service!

    ♦ Packers are needed this Thursday for backpacks. Please find 45 minutes in your day to make the job fun and easy.

    ♦ CAROL GALBRAITIH, chair of the Red Cross Gifts for Kids program, is collecting funds and volunteers to adopt a child and purchase the items needed. If you can help, please contact CAROL.

    ♦ JAYNE FEATHERS introduced the "Give the Gift of a Smile" program. SMILE breaks down as follows:

    ♦ JACK KELLEY asked for old eye glasses and shoes that are still in good condition but no longer needed. Next month he will take them to the orphanage in El Salvador. There will be a collection box at upcoming meetings.


    PROSPECTIVE NEW MEMBER:
    Linda Hughes-Kirchubel, sponsored by JEANNE NORBERG, has been approved for membership and barring any objections, will be introduced soon.
