    ANNOUNCEMENTS:

    ♦ There are still several items needed to fill the Christmas Backpacks. Please bring the food items, hats, scarves, and mittens on the "shopping list" provided by the Backpack Committee. Time is running short.

    ♦ CYNTHIA HARDING, standing in for CAROL GALBRAITH, reminded us of the Red Cross Christmas gift program. Volunteers are needed to sponsor a child or contribute funds so CAROL can make the purchases.

    ♦ On Wednesday, November 25th (day before Thanksgiving) Food Finders is hosting a 12 hour (6am-6pm) "Feed the Need" Food Drive at all 3 Marsh grocery locations in Greater Lafayette where people can bring food donations, or buy them in Marsh and donate in our Food Finders totes/trucks that will be at all locations. Food Finders needs volunteers to pass out flyers for a 1-2 hour shift anytime of day on the 25th! If anyone at the Lafayette Rotary Club is interested in helping out that day, please contact Danielle Goldberg, Volunteer Coordinator, Food Finders Food Bank, Inc., dgoldberg@food-finders.org 765.471.0062

    ♦ The Annual Lafayette Rotary Club Bell Ringing Day for Salvation Army will be on Saturday, December 12, from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at nine locations across town. In order to be successful, we need 72 folks to fill two-hour slots throughout the day. Several of you have already signed up. For others who may be interested, contact BRYAN METZGER @ 765/426.1611 to reserve a time slot. You can bring a spouse, child, friend, etc. to help out. Following the December 17 meeting, we have 34 vacancies, including 1 from 10a.m. to 2p.m.; 8 from 12-2 p.m.; 10 from 2-4 p.m. and 15 from 4-6 p.m. THANK YOU for your service!
