ANNOUNCEMENTS:

♦ JAYNE FEATHERS encouraged us to take advantage of special sales on hats and mittens for Christmas backpacks. She also said there had been a serious decline in the number of volunteers. Packers are needed on Thursdays and Distributors on Fridays. Please play your part!

♦ Mark Your Calendar! December 12th is day we will be Ringing the Bell for Salvation Army. The sign up sheet will be available soon. It is a great opportunity to spend two hours getting to know someone in Rotary.

♦ November is International Foundation month. SUSAN HYCHKA reminded of the many achievements of The Rotary Foundation. BARB REIF brought us up to date on our club's two international projects. Through a matching grant, which increases our $2,000 to $20,490, an orphanage in Mexico will have laundry equipment. At present the one hundred girls are hand washing everything. This will enable the girls to have more time for studies and leisure. Another $2,000 is being matched by the District to provide microscopes for the university in Liberia. The president of that university is a Rotarian and a friend of members of our club.

THANK YOU:
Dear Rotarians:
Many thanks for the beautiful plant. It was a great feeling to be remembered by the club. I miss the fellowship and can't wait to get back. Again, all my thanks.
Sincerely,
BOB FEUER
