  • ANNOUNCEMENTS:
    • As you no doubt know, a running database containing up to date demographic data is maintained on all members of the Lafayette Rotary Club. This data is used for recognitions of contributions to the Rotary Foundations, for transmitting semiannual dues statements, for notice of Ripples availability, and other Club purposes. Also, each summer, a printed Club Directory is produced. In preparation for this year's Directory, if any of your demographic information (home and business addresses, phone numbers, email address, company and job title) has changed recently, please send corrected information to JANE TURNER at ttours@comcast.net by July 7.

    • PRESIDENT ROB reminded us that there is still time to contribute to Every Rotarian Every Year.

    • We have pens and a remote drive for the computer in the lost and found. Contact JANE if you are the owner.

    • LETA KELLEY announced John and JEANNE NORBERG have graciously offered to have a Rotary dinner at their home on August 15th with Steve and SUSAN HYCHKA as chefs. The first 20 folks to sign up by July 10th. will be their guests. Starting time is 6:30 pm. Each guest is asked to bring a side dish and the wine or beer of their choice. Soft drinks and coffee will be provided. Please sign up by email or phone to LETA KELLEY. Leta1959@verizon.net or 463-9690.

    • TOM MORAN, chair of the Gus Macker Tournament, regretfully cancelled the tournament this year. The financial commitments received are not sufficient to make the event successful. We will continue to raise funds for the Backpack Project.

    • JAN GRIFFIN KOEHLER'S first assignment at her new job at Ivy Tech was to put together Continuing Education Brochures. She brought several to share. They will be available on the back table for a couple of weeks.
