  • LETA KELLEY announced John and JEANNE NORBERG have graciously offered to have a Rotary dinner at their home on August 15th with Steve and SUSAN HYCHKA as chefs. The first 20 folks to sign up by July 10th. will be their guests. Starting time is 6:30 pm. Each guest is asked to bring a side dish and the wine or beer of their choice.   • BILL HATFIELD announced that RI President Elect RAY KLINGENSMITH from Kirksville, MO will be in Muncie the evening of August 13th for a dinner honoring Major Donors and Paul Harris Society Members. At noon on August 14th he will be in Lebanon. Stay tuned for more details. This is a rare opportunity to meet our upcoming Rotary International President.

  • TOM MORAN, chair of the Gus Macker Tournament, reminded us of the need to solicit funds for the Tournament. A decision will be made in the next week concerning hosting the event. If commitments for $40,000 in donations are not received very soon, the Tournament cannot be held this year.
