CONGRATULATIONS:

SUSAN HYCHKA presented new Paul Harris pins with sapphires to KEN EWING, CHRISTA KECK, and CORKY MITCHELL. Rotary depends on the generosity of members like these three to continue the mission of The Rotary Foundation around the world.

PROGRAM:

PRESIDENT ELECT CHRISTA KECK introduced SONYA MARGERUM (Right) and JIM BODENMILLER (Below Left) who presented the Cultural Plan for Lafayette/West Lafayette. Explaining that funding from both cities, the County, major arts organization and the Community Foundation provided a consultant to help with the study.

The Vision was to identify what cultural organizations and events we have in the community. A Steering Committee was formed; interviews and surveys conducted. TAF is the entity coordinating the implementation. MARGERUM and BODENMILLER presented the goals, what the next steps are and how the cultural scene in the community could look in fifteen years.
