ANNOUNCEMENTS: | ||
TOM MORAN, chair of the Gus Macker Tournament, asked members who picked up a letter addressed to area organizations asking for a donation, to let him know the results of the request. He will send a follow-up letter.
| CHARLOTTE HOWELLS and ROB GALBRAITH presented certificates of appreciation from Miami Elementary School for help with the Backpack Project. Not everyone was present to receive them, and some had been distributed at the school. For fear of missing someone, the names will not be listed here. Thank you to all who helped in any way!
| GENE HILLS announced that the Elks Club is sponsoring a veterans appreciation event and needs help knowing and contacting veterans since 911. These veterans will be honored on Sunday, June 14 at a 6:30 dinner. Tickets for all except those being honored cost $20.00. If you can help, please contact GENE. |
