  • ANNOUNCEMENTS:
  • LETA KELLEY invited all euchre players to Jan and FRED ANDERSON'S home on May 16th. The fun begins at 6:30 with appetizers that we all bring. Andersons will provide wine, drinks and dessert after the games! Please RSVP to LETA or the ANDERSONS. Hope to see you there!

  • TOM MORAN, chair of the Gus Macker 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament committee, still needs volunteers to help at the Hoop Shoot at the 4th Annual Eagle Fair at Faith Christian School this Friday from 4 – 9 P.M. He needs 4 volunteers for each of the two shifts: 4 – 6:30 and 6:30 – 9:00. If you can help, contact TOM.

  • JAYNE FEATHERS announced that all Rotarians are invited to Miami School on Monday, May 22nd at 2:15 for a big THANK YOU party with the staff and students after a successful year of providing full backpacks.


  • JANE'S CORNER:
    It is easy to check on line your record of giving to Rotary International. All you need is your member number, which is in the address label of The Rotarian Magazine, which you receive monthly. Go to the Rotary International website at rotary.org and find "member access" in the upper right hand corner. From there you will need to follow the instructions to log in.

    Club Board Meeting Highlights:
  • WES MCDIVITT, Treasurer, is working on next year's budget. Input from all committee chairs is needed.

  • JANE TURNER's performance review was presented by the Governance Committee.

  • Resignations were accepted from DOROTHY LIGHT, LARRY HOFFMAN, LYLE THOMPSON and WALLY TYNER.

  • The Ambassadorial Scholars committee is recommending two outstanding students to the District for outbound Ambassadorial Scholarships.
