CLUB CONCERNS:
PRESIDENT ROB asked us to keep the following in our thoughts and prayers: BOB BROCK, ROY WHISTLER, former Rotarian Bill Pape, JIM SMITH, JIM HANKS and the family and friends of ANN HUNT, whose husband, Dick, passed away over the weekend.

PROGRAM:

PAT COREY introduced David Bathe (Left), Chancellor of IVY Tech Community College and Paul Cramer (Right), CEO Lafayette Family YMCA, who explained Intersection Connec- tion. This is a cooperative effort involving IVY Tech, Lafayette Family YMCA, Junior Achievement, Lafayette Parks and Recreation and the Tippecanoe School Corporation to compliment each other's strengths. IVY Tech needs recreational activities for some students and child care for other students. The YM can provide those and use student volunteers. The college needs space and funding. The YM plans to build more space and can increase its membership and community activities with student participation. The concept of Intersection Connections seems like a win-win all the way around.
