PROGRAM:
STEVE KNECHT introduced Claudine Laufman, Director of the Columbian Park Zoo for the past 10 years, who explained the educational focus of the exhibits. Through public/private partnerships they have a fountain, petting zoo, and a butterfly garden. About 25,000 kids have been exposed to animals through classes, camp or exhibits. She briefly mentioned needs that the zoo has, including a second classroom, exhibits for cats and primates, penguins, River Otters, Australian marsupials, and small African animals. |

CHIP RUTLEDGE introduced Erika Spykman and Michael Rousch from Faith Christian School. Each received a certificate and a travel mug with the 4-Way Test to commemorate meeting with us today. |
