DAVE SATTLER, Birthday Table Chair for March, introduced members who celebrate another year of life this month and announced that, so far, $708.24 has been contributed to the Foundations. We thanked them by singing Happy Birthday.

PROGRAM:

CHRISTA KECK introduced fellow Rotarian BOB HANNEMANN, a pediatrician with Arnett Clinic and an instructor at Purdue University, who is on the Board of Directors of the Center for Missing and Exploited Children. In a DVD presentation we learned that the center was created in 1984 by President Reagan and is housed in Alexandria, VA. Two thousand children are reported missing every day. One in six of the children are recovered. To fight sexual exploitation, the Coalition Against Child Pornography keep a sex offender data base. The involvement of our club and eventually all of Rotary would be to help the center locate children and educate people about exploitation. We have a committee that is covering all schools, health care facilities, family and youth organizations, law enforcement, and retail places. To become involved with this improtant project, contact BOB.
