ANNOUNCEMENTS:
  • JEANNE NORBERG invited us to attend the September 24th, 7:30 a.m. announcement of the $2,000 grant for the Backpack project at Payless on Maple Pointe Drive. This is in conjunction with their Grand Reopening. She asked for volunteers on Thursdays and Fridays at Miami Elementary School. Helps is also needed unloading a truck of food on September 30th at 8:45 a.m.

  • JAYNE FEATHERS reminds us that people need to have security checks to work at Miami School. The forms are available from at the back table with instructions on how they need to be submitted. There is no fee.

  • PAUL WARNING, President of the Purdue Rotaract Club, announced that the club has had its first callout and prospects look good for the club this year. They will be participating in the Gus Macker Tournament and the Feast of the Hunters' Moon this weekend. They are looking forward to working with our club and Daybreak on several activities throughout the year.
