    ANNOUNCEMENTS:
    • JACK KELLEY asked for host families for the Open World program which bring Russian law enforcement officials to this country to see how our system works. The group will be here from Tuesday, October 14 to Saturday, October 18. If you can help, contact JACK. Also keep April 5 - 9, 2009 open for GSE team members.

    • The Club International Foundation Committee will meet at 11:15 AM on 2 September. International Foundation Committee chair, JIM TURLEY, will send an agenda to committee members.

    • LIZ SOLBERG urged us to attend the Wabash River Corridor meeting at Holiday Inn Select at 7 p.m. on September 4th. This meeting will be gathering input on enhancement strategies.

    • PAUL POST told us to watch for the five billboards that are advertising our Gus Macker Basketball Tournament. He also encouraged us to volunteer for Registration on September 26th from 4 - 7:30 P.M. and September 27th from 6:30 - 9:30 A.M. This is NOT hard work. Please see PAUL if you can help.

    • JAYNE FEATHERS reminds us that people have to have security checks to work at Miami School. The forms are available from at the back table with instructions on how they need to be submitted. There is no fee.

    • PRESIDENT ROB reminded us that on September 9th, District Governor TOM FISHER will visit our club. Wear your Rotary pin! See ROB if you need a pin.
