CLUB CONCERNS:
PAST PRESIDENT JOHN asked us to keep the following in our thoughts and prayers: BOB BROCK, ROY WHISTLER, RAY KAVANAUGH. A eulogy for RALPH MORRIS will be presented next week.

PROGRAM:

JIM HANKS began by recognizing several Rotarians who have played significant roles in Civic Theatre history. He highlighted some of the landmarks events over the years and then introduced Mark Allen Carter, current Vice President of the Board for Civic Theater. He is standing in for Steve Koehler, who was not able to join us today. Mark gave us a brief overview of the upcoming season before introducing Cody Butcher, Clarissa Shinn, Landon Scott, Nicki Eberle, Kyler Breed and Jawanna Blalock (6 of the 42 cast members) who performed two numbers from Disney's High School Musical. This show, which set all time records for ticket sales, was directed by Laurie Russell. We were pleased to have her with us today. John Satterfield, the show's music director, accompanied the singers. Civic volunteers in the club encouraged Rotarians to attend the shows and to play their part (painting sets?).

GUESTS:

Patti O'Callaghan, guest of MIKE PIGGOTT and Sangita Handa, guest of ZBIG GRABOWSKI.
