    ANNOUNCEMENTS:

  •  JAYNE FEATHERS asked that any members who don't have their security check in should pursue that by picking up a form from JANE and sending it in directly to Miami Elementary.
  •  JAYNE also announced that we have been offered the opportunity to assist Miami in early registration from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. this Friday, 8/8, and Monday, 8/11 from Noon until 7. Our role will be to assist those identified by staff to sign up for the backpack program.

    Shifts will be about two hours. Matt said one person per shift will be sufficient.

  •  TOM MORAN requests volunteers this Saturday, August 9th to be at Wal-Mart on S.R. 26E at the Food Center Door to monitor the trailer with the basketball hoop. We will be encouraging teams to register. TOM also has a sign up sheet for registration on Friday night and Saturday morning, September 26 and 27.
  •  JEANNE NORBERG has been contacted by the Indiana State Museum to help identify prominent women in Indiana who have been active in Girl Scouts. If you know of someone, please contact JEANNE.
