  • PDG JIM GRAHAM will be here next week to make a short announcement about Rotary's Conflict Resolution program and the opportunity for Purdue students.

  • JAYNE FEATHERS says five shelving units are needed to hold food for the BackPack Program. Good used units or contributions toward new ones (they cost $50) would be appreciated.

  • FRITZ COHEN invited us to volunteer for the next Shots Not Spots on Wednesday, August 6th. There are only two shifts open. Sign up Sheet is on the Bulletin Board or contact FRITZ.


JANE'S CORNER:
Highlights of the July 14th Club Board Meeting:
  • WES MC DIVITT was accepted as the Club Treasurer ELSA JANLE was thanked for three years of service in that position.

  • No dues were received from Martin Jischke and Doug Taylor, so they were dropped. JEFF VITTER and DON FRANKLIN have accepted new positions and are moving out of town.

  • Funding for bicycles for PALS (Purdue Athletic Life Skills) was approved for '07/'08 and '08/'09.

  • No meetings will be canceled during the Christmas/New Year Holiday season.

  • Subscriptions of The Rotarian Magazine were dropped to all school libraries. We will try to redirect duplicate subscriptions held by couples in the club.
