CONGRATULATIONS:

PRESIDENT JOHN'S "Thank you for caring a whole awful lot" went to GENE COURTANEY for past leadership and continued will-\break ingness to volunteer; and to GREG DONAT for his help with GSE teams and groups of legal professionals visiting from Russia.

PROGRAM:

ROB GALBRAITH introduced his one time landlord, Bill Watson, Indy 500 Photographer, who gave us a fast look at his 45 years from behind the lens at the world's largest one-day sporting event. He pointed out that the race track has the world's largest PA system, a full hospital on site, and holds church services every Sunday during the Month of May. Food and merchandise sales and clean- up are handled by volunteers earning funds for their charitable organizations. The Snake Pit at Turn One has been eliminated. Traffic control and security are considered a model for other events. He had several other interesting facts and stayed after the meeting to talk with race fans.
