  • Thank you to ROB for covering for JOHN the last 2 weeks.

  • The Rotary International Year ends on June 30. That gives us a very short time to boost our giving to the Annual Program Fund. Our participation affects the level of District Designated Funds that come back to us three years hence. At stake are funding levels for Ambassadorial Scholars, GSE, and a number of peace and humanitarian grants and projects. You can establish a Sustaining Membership with as little as $100, or continue to build towards Paul Harris Recognition.

    Checks should be made out to The Lafayette Rotary Foundation Memo: The Rotary International, Annual Program Fund, or simply: Annual Fund, TRF. Please send your check to JANE SMITH as soon as possible or not later than 15 June 2008.

  • Rotarian of the Year nomination forms are available. We will honor one of our members at the Annual Meeting on July 1st. The deadline for applications is June 17th.

  • LETA KELLEY announced that the next Euchre Party will be June 21st at JEANNE and John NORBERG'S house at 6:30. Bring a snack and your card sense. It's always a fun time and a great way to get to know fellow Rotarians.
