ANNOUNCEMENTS:
  • TOM MORAN thanked those who volunteered as Hoop Masters at last Friday's Eagle Fair where young people were encouraged to form a team to participate in the Gus Macker Tournament.

  • BOB HANNEMANN announced that a new committee named the Rotary National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) Committee will hold its first meeting next Tuesday after the regular club meeting. The ultimate goal is to have this group serve as a liaison and facilitating body for NCMEC in whatever way possible. Once we are successful, we can "export" the idea to other clubs and eventually to the International organization. Our first meeting will be to decide how best to approach this. The members of this group so far are: JANET BROYLES, JAN FARKAS, CYNTHIA HARDING, FRED KUIPERS, TOM MORAN, DICK RAHDERT, and SUSAN SMITH.

  • The International Foundation Committee will meet on 27 May at 11:00 AM in the conference room adjoining the meeting room. E-mail information has been sent to committee members. Questions can be e-mailed to JIM TURLEY at turleyj2mj@aol.com.

  • DAN HEMAN has scheduled membership information meetings on May 27 and June 3.

  • Remember to fill out the Committee Selection sheet. Those who fail to indicate a preference will be on the Membership Committee.

  • LETA KELLEY announced that the next Euchre Party will be June 21st at JEANNE and John NORBERG'S house at 6:30. Bring a snack and your card sense. It's always a fun time and a great way to get to know fellow Rotarians.
