CONGRATULATIONS:

JOHN SANDERSON made JERRY MC CARTHY a new Paul Harris Fellow. DAN HEMAN received a new pin with one sapphire and BILL HEATH a new pin with two sapphires.

RICHARD BARTHOLOMEW presented SALLY WATLINGTON with a certificate recognizing her Diamond Level of giving to the Lafayette Rotary Foundation.

PROGRAM:

BILL LOVELL introduced Larry Braile, Professor of Earth & Atmospheric Sciences at Purdue University, who discussed the future of energy by stating it is a large-scale problem with no simple solution. He gave us the energy basics, by sharing how much oil is available, how much is used and where it comes from. He also gave us a crash course on how it is priced.
