Aneta Gardiner has four children and seven grandchildren, works two jobs and is pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education. Gerilinde Conde is also studying Education. PROGRAM:

MARTHA CHISCON introduced MAUREEN SMIT GRABOWSKI, a frequent visiting Rotarian from the St. Myers South, FL Rotary Club. Married to ZBIG GRABOWSKI, they split their time between Florida and Indiana. MAUREEN described her participation in a National Immunization Day (NIDs) trip to India. In 2004 she traveled with a group from Michigan who administered drops of the vaccine to children in several villages. Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nigeria and India are the only countries where the polio virus remains. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has presented a One Hundred Million Dollar Challenge Grant to Rotary, knowing Rotarians will dig deep and match it in three years. MAUREEN'S experience and dedication is an inspiration to our club.
