• DISTRICT GOVERNOR JIM GRAHAM announced that Bob Thompson, a past member of out Club, will be participating in discussion about world hunger at the District Conference and invited all members to attend. He also reported that a team of doctors is scheduled to perform heart surgery on 20 children in the middle-east. This is part of the Gift of Life program, started by BILL HATFIELD when he was our District Governor.

Thank you for the contribution to Rotary in Bud's name. Rotary was a special part of Bud's life, and he felt so honored to become an honorary member when he was unable to attend.

I treasure the eulogy given by Gordon Kingma.

Bob Hanna resigned from the club last year because of health issues, but he had been a Rotarian for decades and we should continue to be mindful of him. Bob is at Regency of Lafayette, in the Birchwood Unit, 300 Windy Hill Drive, Lafayette 05, 477-7791, and would welcome both cards and visitors.
