  • PRESIDENT JOHN described the Community Service Project under consideration called the Back Pack Program for elementary schools in Lafayette and West Lafayette. At a cost of $5 -$6 per child per week, funds earned from the Gus Macker Tournament could cover about 80 children for a school year. There would be opportunities to participate all many levels – from contributing funds to packing the Back Packs. JOHN asked for an indication of interest and nearly all hands when up.
