JOHN SANDERSON presented PDG BILL HATFIELD (Left) with a new Paul Harris Pin. This one has four sapphires on it, meaning he has contributed in excess of $5,000 to the good works of The Rotary Foundation.

JOHN presented DICK RAHDERT (Center) with a GOLDEN SERVICE PLUS certificate honoring his contributions in excess of $2,500 to The Lafayette Rotary Foundation. Thank you!

PRESIDENT JOHN'S "Thank you for caring a whole awful lot" plaque went to CYNTHIA HARDING (Right) for above and beyond the call of duty work on the Youth Committee. Congratulations!

PROGRAM:

ROB GALBRAITH introduced Lance Duerfahrd, Professor of English at Purdue with a long held interest in photography. He shared photos from the 1930's depression era. President Roosevelt hired photographers to document the unseen group of people for the federal government. Dorothea Lange and Walker Evans were the featured photographers today, showing the homeless, hungry, the left out and abandoned people of the urban and rural populations.

LEW RUNNELS introduced Brook Ellis and Paul Lim from West Lafayette High School. Each received a certificate and a travel mug with the Four Way Test to commemorate meeting with us.
