  • The Club Board will meet next Monday at MBAH at 5:15. The Executive Committee will not meet. The Foundation Board will meet next Wednesday at MBAH at 4:30.

  • Plan to join the Rotarian crew filling Christmas boxes at the YWCA on Friday, December 14th at 9am. This is always a fun service project.

  • CYNTHIA HARDING asked us to help our Youth committee Rotary by choosing a name for the American Red Cross Christmas gifting to children. The committee will do the shopping for you if you don't have time. This is an exciting new program to be involved in and is the only Christmas some of these children will receive. Contact CYNTHIA HARDING or call her at (428-8910) for more information or to get a name. Gifts must be brought to Rotary next Tuesday.

  • JACK KELLEY reminded us that death and taxes are inevitable, but death is not repeatable! He introduced Patty O'Callahan who encouraged members to become tax preparers for Lafayette Urban Ministry's Free Tax Preparation. There is on-line training – you don't have to be an expert. Contact JACK or Patty with questions or to volunteer.

  • Mark your calendar! There will be a Holiday Reception from 4 - 8 P.M. on Sunday, December 16th at JANE TURNER'S home. This will also serve as the New Member Reception. Sponsors, New Members, Old Members, Spouses - Everybody come.

  • GORDAN KINGMA reported that Pat Baugh (BUD BAUGH's wife) called to say he was at home an d appears to be much better.
