CLUB CONCERNS:
PRESIDENT JOHN asked us to keep the following in our thoughts and prayers: BOB BROCK, ROY WHISTLER, BUD BAUGH, the family and friends of EARL PARK whose wife, Mildred, passed away last week, and the family and friends of JAYNE FEATHERS whose husband, Ron, passed away this week.
THANK YOU:

PRESIDENT JOHN'S "Thank you for caring a whole awful lot" plaque went to BILL HATFIELD for his contribution to the Planning Committee, the Rotary Foundation Committee and several District positions. Congratulations!

PROGRAM:

ROB GALBRAITH introduced Glenn Sparks, Professor of Communications at Purdue, who spoke to us about living well in the age of electronic media. He noted that the percentage of Americans playing cards, eating at a nice restaurant, entertaining friends at home, attending a meeting or socializing in the evening has decreased in the past ten years. Men have fewer close friends than in the past. Mobility and reliance on media technology make it difficult to connect with people. However, physical problems result from the lack of contact with a network of friends. He congratulated us for having an impressive number of members attend our meetings every Tuesday. It really matters!

STUDENT GUESTS:

RAY PEETERS introduced Daniela Giuliani and Sean Henderson from Harrison High School. Each received a certificate and a travel mug with the Four Way Test to commemorate meeting with us.
