    JANE'S CORNER:
    Board of Director's Meeting:
    • Because the term ``Vocational Scholarship" is too narrow for Ivy Tech stuents, the Board accepted the Vovational Projects Committee's recommendation to change it to ``The Rotary Scholarship."
    • The cost of the Wheels has risen dramatically. The Board of Directors in 2005 choose not to order more. On the advice of members who provide programs for organizations like ours, it was decided that the cost of these Wheels is better spent on local projects. Speakers appreciate the charity work more than the gift. It was decided to eliminate the speaker's gift when our supply of Rotary Wheels is depleted.
    • The Board approved the job description for a Governance Committee. For more information on this committee, please ask JANE for the job description or talk to a member of the Planning Committee.
    • The committee decided not to pursue Chicken Sales this year.
