    • ANNOUNCEMENTS:
    • BETTY SUDDARTH reminded us that Rotaract is having a cookout at 6:00 on Sunday, September 30 at Pickett Park, on the corner of Stadium and McCormick Road. Parking access is off of Stadium. The Rotaract Club will furnish hot dogs, hamburgers, sodas and chips. If members want to bring something else that is fine but not necessary. This is a great opportunity to show support for and have fun with the college age club!
    • Mark your calendar! We will ring the bell for Salvation Army on December 1st. Sign-up sheets will appear in November.
    • While you have your calendar out, there will be no Tuesday meeting On October 9th. The meeting is Thursday that week. We will join the Kiwanians for the Basketball Coaches presentation.
    • JIM KLUSMAN thanked everyone who was involved in the successful Gus Macker event. There were 250 - 260 teams, including one from Turkey. He read a special Thank You note from the YMCA HOOPZ Gus Macker Team and presented special basketballs signed by Scott McNeal (Mr. Gus Macker!) to STAN MITHOEFER and PAUL POST. Congratulations on a job well done!!
    • KATHY KROLL invites anyone who wants to play euchre to the Verplanks on October 13th and the Boughs on November 17th. Please contact KATHY if you plan to attend. Singles are welcome.
