    ANNOUNCEMENTS:
    • Sign up to volunteer for the Gus Macker 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament. This is our club's major fund-raiser. Please play your part!
    • Rotary International Credit Card Applications are available on the back table. Our Club receives $25 for each approved card.
    • The CAPE Programs will be participating in an Open House at Washington School, 1100 Elizabeth St., on Wednesday, August 29th from 3 PM to 7 PM. One of the areas they will be showcasing is the new playground, donated by funds from Rotary, for the infants and toddlers that will be attending the program. All are invited.
    • Mark your calendar! We will ring the bell for Salvation Army on December 1st. Sign-up sheets will appear in November.
    • FRITZ COHEN read a thank you letter from Donella Carter, County Health Dept, stating that 281 children were given 679 shots. It was the most that had been done in a long time. She thanked Rotarian volunteers: FRITZ COHOEN, JOHN CARPENTER, KIRK CLARK, LEW RUNNELS, GENE HILLS, FRANCIS PRITSCHER, BILL HINZE, ELDON ORTMAN and TOM MORAN.
