- 26 CHANGE OF CLUB ADMINISTRATION
ANNOUNCEMENTS:

We have two weeks to help JAN meet the goal of 100% participation for Every
Rotarian Every Year. We are currently at 61% participation in The Rotary
Foundation (International) and 76% participation in Lafayette Rotary Foundation.

This year's Annual Meeting will be June 26th. This is the time when we change
administrations, honor 50-year members, honor widows or Rotarians, and
welcome any Past District Governors who can join us. The meeting usually runs
a little longer than usual, so arrive early. We plan to start at noon.

Committees are being formed for next year (beginning July 1st), so play your part
and let JOHN SANDERSON, JAN GRIFFIN KOEHLER OR JANE know your
interests. Volunteers to chair committees are especially appreciated!

The Board of Directors voted to raise semi-annual dues to $126 effective
October, 2007.

TERRY WEST, Ambassadorial Scholar chair, announced that three Koreans and
one Kenyan will be studying at Purdue next fall. Volunteers are needed to be
local hosts for these students.

Highlights from the Club Board Meeting:

After discussing the draft budget for next year and realizing that more
income was needed to cover commitments, the Board increased semi-
annual dues to $126, effective October, 2007.
- The acquisition of a computer and sound system for guest speakers' use
was approved.
- A new policy allowing not only the speaker to have a free meal, but also a
guest of the speaker was approved.
- The Club President was given permission to see the contribution report
prepared by the Foundation Treasurer.
