JOHN SANDERSON introduced Robert Novak, Department Head and Clinical Professor, Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences, who spoke to us about the endemic noise in our society and how it damages our hearing. Because of all of the noise, there are old ears in young bodies. Since this is preventable, it has become a public health issue. There are limits to the daily dose of noise. We should know the limits and use earplugs. VISITING ROTARIANS:
