CHANGE OF CLUB ADMINISTRATION
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
-
There is still time to help JAN meet the goal of 100% participation for Every
Rotarian Every Year. Most of the clubs at the District Conference had 100% of
their members contributing something to The Rotary Foundation. If $100 is out
of your reach, whatever you can afford will be appreciated.
-
TERRY WEST announced that our club's candidate for Ambassadorial Scholar
was selected by the District. Alexander Hertel-Fernandez from West Lafayette is
a student at Northwestern University. He intends to study world health issues in
Peru. TERRY also announced that there will be six incoming Ambassadorial
Scholars in Indiana next fall. Some will be at Purdue.
-
Rotarian of the Year nominations are due by June 11th. Please see ROB
GALBRAITH or JANE for forms.
JANE'S CORNER:
Recent resignations include: JERRY BEAN and PHIL SWAIN who transferred to
clubs in their new hometowns; GILBERT ROCHON, PAT CUNNINGHAM, and
PETER KLINE due to job pressures. We hope to have them back with us when
their situations change.
SAVE THE DATE:
MICHAEL HUNT'S Historic Centennial Neighborhood is celebrating a newly
remodeled Centennial Park with a Hollyhock Festival. Saturday, June 30 from
noon to 3:00. It's a family affair with games, a vintage Brass Band and Mayor
Roswarski. Come for the fun, free food and drinks.
