CLUB CONCERNS:

PRESIDENT JAN asked us to keep the following in our thoughts and prayers: BOB BROCK.
PROGRAM:

JAN introduced our own BILL FULLER, who described his days in WWII as a "Citizen Soldier". In 1941 he volunteered for the RAF and was referred to Canada. Good thing, because at the same time he met Lou, who would eventually become his wife. He enlisted in the U.S. Army, wanting to be in the Air Corp. As so often happened, he ended up in the 30th Infantry Division specializing in artillery. He described his journey from France to Germany with some frightening adventures along the way. He had photos taken during the war and others taken in 2005 when he and his son returned to the cities. We are thankful to BILL for sharing his story and for his service to our country.
GUESTS:

Cynthia Harding, guest of BETTY DOVERSBERGER; Matt Willmore and Lou Fuller, guest and wife of BILL FULLER.

THANKS TO THOSE WHO HELP WITH
MEETING FUNCTIONS:

Money Collectors: JOHN CARPENTER and JAN FARKAS; Greeter: GENE HILLS; Invocation: DICK DONAHUE; Dinner Music: REX KEPLER; Singing: HARLEY FREY and CORKY MITCHELL; GENE HILLS for being moderator; JO WADE for taking attendance and for help at the back table; BILL FULLER for help with RIPPLES.
PRESIDENT JAN'S THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK:

Try to forget yourself in the service of others. For when we think too much of ourselves and our own interests, we easily become despondent. But when we work for others, our efforts return to bless us.
