CLUB CONCERNS:

PRESIDENT JAN asked us to keep the following in our thoughts and prayers: BOB BROCK; Jerry Neudeck, husband of MARIELLEN NEUDECK.
PROGRAM:

GREG REGER, chair of the Vocational Scholarship Committee, announced that Elizabeth Nisen, Laurie Michael, Marianne Knouff, Charles Messer are our $1,000 Vocational Scholarships recipients. All are students at Indiana Business College (no applications were received from Ivy Tech) and each of the women read the essay required as part of the scholarship application. GREG read the essay by Charles Messer, who was unable to join us today. Laurie had her support team, parents Allen and Linda Hodge with her. Marianne brought Gale Beller and Wilma Wallpe. Congratulations and best wishes to all four students.

GREG also announced the recipient of this year's Vocational Service Above Self Award and introduced JIM HANKS who told us a little about our own SALLY WATLINGTON and why she so richly deserves this honor. SALLY's response included a quick update on the Community Health Clinic and a special thanks to her mentor and friend, Dr. Wendell Riggs.
