ANNOUNCEMENTS:

We need to move our train up the track! At the District Conference each club
must display the graphic for "Every Rotarian Every Year" showing the number of
members who contributed and the total amount. The goal is $100 from each
member. Please do your part.

Plan to attend the District Conference, April 20 - 22 at French Lick Springs
Resort Hotel. There is a special rate for Rotarians until the block is full. Call now
to reserve your room. Each member must register individually. The forms are
available in the newsletter on the District Web Site, accessible from our Club site.
The first 15 members to register will be eligible for a $100 reimbursement from
the Club.

Mark your calendars:
- April - Wine Tasting at Jane's Deli will cost $40. Date will be announced soon.
- April 5th - Rotaract's Game Night at 7:00 at St. James Lutheran School. Join our
college colleagues for an evening of fun.

ROB GALBRAITH, who will be Program Chair next year, thanked members who have
suggested programs. With your help, we will have another interesting year!

As part of the revision of the bylaws of The Lafayette Rotary
Foundation, the Assistant Treasurer serves year-to-year as a voting
member of the Board. The position is open and should be filled no later
than July 1, 2007. Interested Rotarians should contact DAVE LUHMAN,
JANE TURNER, JANE SMITH or DALE McHENRY by April 10.
