PAUL POST reported that at the Gus Macker training seminar in Grand Rapids,
MI, our contingent was very impressed by a trailer used for promotional
purposes. So they purchased one. However, it is a Kit and requires some
assembly. If you are an assembler, please contact PAUL. It will remind you of
Christmas Eve when your children were small!
-
Kerry Canarsky, a member of Rotaract invited Rotarians to a fun and games
night sponsored by the Purdue Rotaract Club to be held on April 5th, 7 p.m., at St.
James Lutheran Church, 615 North 8th Street. Families are welcome. Please
come and get acquainted with our Rotaract members.
PROPOSED NEW MEMBER:
Mike Roe, sponsored by JACK KELLEY, has been approved by the Board of
Directors and, barring any objections, will be introduced soon.
JANE'S CORNER:
-
A personal thanks to all who kept the club going while I was away. I bring
greetings from ERNIE POLAND, who took me as his guest to the Noon Rotary
Club of Crossville, TN. It was such a treat to attend a meeting and not have
anything to do! That club has about 65 members of all ages. It is rowdy, fun,
friendly. The fund-raiser going on last week had to do with selling radio
advertising. The four competing teams within the club usually raise about
$15,000 for Rotary projects.
- For those of you with 100% Attendance, the numbers to put on your pins have
surfaced! Please bring back the number you have had for the past five years
and exchange it for the correct number.
