CLUB CONCERNS:

PRESIDENT JAN asked us to keep the following in our thoughts and prayers: BOB BROCK. She welcomed FAYE COLE, back from surgery.
VOCATIONAL FOCUS:

JEFF DARLING is the Director of Wabash Center in Lafayette. He talked about having a disabled child and the programs available to that child. As he put it, his job is helping develop new directions for the disabled child.

 
PROGRAM:

JIM KLUSMAN opened the program discussing the Gus Macker 3-on-3 tournament of 2006 which was sponsored by Rotary and Habitat for Humanity of Lafayette, the Purdue Student Habitat Chapter.

 

 

JIM introduced DOUG TAYLOR, Executive Director of Habitat in Lafayette who talked about Habitat's work on the Gus Macker and with the Purdue Chapter.

 

 

DOUG introduced Dan Guildenbecker, who is working on his PHD in Mechanical Engineering at Purdue and has been involved with Habitat and Gus Macker for the last few years.

JIM KLUSMAN then introduced Lisa and her daughter Kiely, the owners of the home the Purdue Habitat built from moneys of the Gus Macker. They presented thank yous to the past sponsors who were present: John Basham, Ray Potter, Chuchk Pettry, Bob Scott, GARY SUISMAN,
