BOB MEYER, reviewed all the good that the bell ringing campaign
does in this
community and thanked both Rotary and Kiwanis for their effort in
making it
happen. Ring the Bell on Saturday, December 2nd. We need everyone to
practice Service Above Self. Bring family, friends, kids,
grandkids, neighbors to
help us Ring the Bell! The Salvation Army is nationally known as the
organization that does the most good.

November is Rotary International Foundation Month.
The November Rotarian is dedicated to the activities and programs
of The
Rotary Foundation of Rotary International. The article "In Focus,
A to Z: in
celebration of the Rotary Foundation: an Alphapedia of service"
provides a
visual and narrative explanation of these programs and activities.
All you
need to know to get started. (Article starts on page 29)
THANK YOU:
Dear Jane,
I'm a little late in acknowledgement, but I really appreciate the
thoughtfulness of the Rotary Club for the large plant that they
sent me
while I was in the hospital. I also wish to thank everyone for all the
caring thoughts and prayers. And I thank all the Rotarians for the
ovation I
apparently received for my benign pathology diagnosis. Yea!
Thank you all very much.
I hope to be a little more active in the club soon. At home here,
I am
pushing the Haiti club to their limits, but I think we are about to
make the
water drilling project a go. It has been unnerving trying to get
the Pignon
Rotary Club to fill out their necessary documents and send them
into RI.
Whew.
