BIRTHDAY TABLE:
CECIL BLIGNAUT introduced members celebrating a birthday in October and announced that so far $1,437 has been collected.

PROGRAM:

GORDON KINGMA introduced Tom Easterday, son of a Rotarian and currently Vice President of SIA. He gave us several statistics related to the strength of the auto purchasing public; reviewed SIA products and especially the production of Toyota Camrys. Toyota will be #1 in auto production in the world next year. SIA's ability to set up a Camry line saved Toyota about two years and perhaps $2 Billion, both important and impressive numbers. The economic impact locally will also be important and impressive.
STUDENT GUESTS:
PAUL POST introduced Rita Yaacoub and Chris Andrzejewski from Central Catholic High School. Each received a certificate and a travel mug with the four-way test to commemorate meeting with us.

MOMENT OF HUMOR:

When PDG BILL HATFIELD chided him about his pronounciation of words in a french song, BOB VERPLANK enlisted the aid of Siham Erragh, Ambassadorial Scholar from France, to help. The caps and paddles were to recognize the Feast of the Hunter's Moon at the old French fort, Fort Ouiatenon.
