ANNOUNCEMENTS

BETTY SUDDARTH announced that committee sign-up sheets for next year are available on the back table. There are two new committees: Family of Rotary and Rotaract. International Understanding Committee was inadvertently left off. It involves setting up activities with International students at Purdue. Please rank your choices and we will try to put you on your first choices.

Thanks to TOM MORAN for restoring and reorganizing the badge box! In a message that accompanied his expense report he noted that the original box was reinforced at corners, nameplates were stripped, primed and painted. New numbers and name labels were printed and installed in alphabetical order. New top divider plates with catches were installed along with new nameplate holders. Note: When stripping the paint from the plate holding the Rotarians' names, an inscription "Porch, 1970" was found. Howard "Howdy" Porch, an instructor in mechanical drawing, had apparently prepared the plates. They held up well!

It is with regret that letters of resignation have been received from JOHN HUIE, CHRIS FUNK, DONYA LESTER and DAVID SMITH.
