CLUB CONCERNS

PRESIDENT DAVE BOUGH, requested members/spouses to keep the following in their thoughts and prayers: JOHN and EUDORA MC KEE; ED PAGE; FAE SPURLOCK; BEV STONE; Marjorie spouse of DICK WALKER, BOB BROCK, Jan spouse of FRED ANDERSON, and PHIL KLINGER.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Sign up sheet for the shots not spots immunization project. The event will be Tuesday March 25th at the Tippecanoe County Fairgrounds in the home economics building. There are 4 - 2 hours time slots that cover the period from 10am to 6 pm. First and last slots involve setting up or putting away table and chairs.

The Raffle for Eradicate Polio brought in $103.00 today. $51.50 goes to the Rotary International Eradicate Polio Fund. $25.75 went to the winning ticket holder (TOM PEARSON who donated it back to the Polio Fund), and $25.75 was added to the kettle for the person who draws the Ace of Spades.

PROGRAM

BETTY SUDDARTH introduced Rotary Club of Indianapolis member ANN KENDALL who spoke to us about The Rotary Centers for International Studies in Peace and Conflict Resolution. Rotary International recognizes the urgent need for Mediators and Peace builders. There are eight University partners. Seventy scholars from thirty countries were part of the Class of 2002-04. Our district has committed funds for this project and individuals are encouraged to continue to support this program.

STUDENT GUESTS: Trudy Garrison from Ivy Tech State College was our guest today, introduced by JOHN SANDERSON. She received a certificate and a travel mug with the four-way test to commemorate her visit with us.
