CLUB CONCERNS

PRESIDENT DAVE BOUGH, requested members/spouses to keep the following in their thoughts and prayers: KEN DECKER, JOHN and EUDORA MC KEE; ED PAGE; FAE SPURLOCK; BEV STONE; Marjorie spouse of DICK WALKER, RICK SCHWARZ, JOHN DE CAMP and JERRY MC CARTHY who had knee surgery last week.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Next Tuesday (December 3) there will be a meeting of the GSE Committee at 10:45 in the Tailgate Lounge.

The Vocational and Youth Committee will meet after the regular meeting on Tuesday, December 17th.

The next Small Group Dinner will be a holiday open house on Thursday, December 12th, beginning at 6:00 at the home of JANE TURNER. Please make reservations with MARTHA CHISCON.

The sign-up sheet for Bell Ringing for Salvation Army on Saturday, December 14th is available. Sign up for a two-hour shift at one of the 11 locations. There are still slots available.

The Salvation Army needs clothing for both adults and children.

A reminder to those who volunteered for the YWCA Women's Shelter Christmas Project to mark your calenders and appear at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on the day and at the time you indicated! If you have forgotten or have a conflict, please call SANDY PEARLMAN.

The Raffle for Eradicate Polio brought in $106.00 today. $53.00 goes to the Rotary International Eradicate Polio Fund, $26.50 went to the winning ticket number (REX KEPLER), and $26.50 was added put in the kettle to start growing since REX drew the Ace of Spades!

There will be NO regular meetings on December 24th and 31st due to the holidays.

PROGRAM (November 26, 2002)

BETTY SUDDARTH introduced our local historian, Bob Kreibel, who who shared highlights of the life of John Purdue, the subject of Bob's newest book. John Purdue earned a reputation early for honesty and integrity, helping him to amass vast sums of money. He also had a passion for education in all forms - formal, technical, self and continuing. After this twenty minute taste of the biography, the booksellers should be busy!

GUESTS: Ralph Gann, guest of JIM TURLEY, Fredrich Ellerbrecht, Ambassadorial Scholar guest of STEVE STUCKY; Jonathan Swoboda, Andrew Myer, Joel Brovant, Chris Myers, Jeff Goodspeed and Ethan Butt from PMO providing special music, guests of TRACIE HUGHES. 

MAKE-UPS: TERRY WEST at Daybreak on November 21ST

STUDENT GUESTS: Adam Barrett from Ivy Tech State College was our student guest today. He received a certificate and a travel mug with the four-way test to commemorate his visit with us.
