PROGRAM (October 22, 2002)

FRITZ COHEN gave a brief introduction to fellow swimmer Jeff Cooke. Jeff, who practices law with his son Aaron, has funded a lane in the new pool and a scholarship. FRITZ feels swimming is a discipline that demands heart and total dedication. Jeff reviewed some of the features of the new pool with great excitement, wishing that it had been available when he was a swimmer for Purdue. Swimming (an injury free sport) is great therapy for him, renewing health and vitality. He quoted Dr. Ismail (MARJORY'S late husband) twice. "Exercise is mother nature's medicine." "Quality of life is the most important thing."
