PICTORIAL DIRECTORIES, according to CHRIS FUNK, will be available next Tuesday, July 13, 1999.

A FREE ONE-YEAR MEMBERSHIP IN THE AMBASSADAIR TRAVEL CLUB (Membership) was given to the Club for its attendance efforts at BILL HATFIELD’s District Governor’s Conference in Nashville. President BOB and President Elect GENE COURTANEY (President Elect GENE) determined that this Membership would be given to a new member sponsor. Therefore, today, this year’s (July 1, 1998 - June 30, 1999) new member names were placed in drawing; the sponsor of the new member drawn would be the winner of the Membership. Two rules applied: (1) Sponsor had to be in attendance; and (2) Sponsor could not win if currently a member of the Ambassadair Travel Club. STEVE STUCKY’s name was drawn first, but his sponsor TERRY WEST was not in attendance; WAEL HARB’s name was drawn next, but his sponsor, JERRY COLE, is currently a member; CURTIS MULLEN’s name was drawn next, and his sponsor, ROB GALBRAITH, was in attendance and did not have a membership, therefore, was the winner of the Membership.

ATTENTION PAST PRESIDENTS: Your photograph, taken around the time you served as the Lafayette Rotary Club President, is needed to be included in the “Video History of the Lafayette Rotary Club” which is being produced by the Membership Education and Information Committee (Committee). All photos will be returned after being scanned. The Committee currently has photos of all Past Presidents through 1937; therefore, if you know of an individual who may possess a photo of a deceased Past President who served after 1937, please contact CHRIS FUNK or BOB GARRISON.
