AN ITEM from “Link”, Rotary Club of Indianapolis weekly newsletter, might be of interest to members. It has been discovered that the Vincent Van Gogh family had many relatives; among them were: His obnoxious brother - Please Gogh; His dizzy aunt - Verti Gogh; The brother who ate prunes - Gotta Gogh; The brother who worked at a convenience store: Stopn Gogh; The grandfather from Yugoslavia - U Gogh; The brother who bleached his clothes white - Hue Gogh; The cousin from Illinois - Chica Gogh; His magician uncle - Wherediddy Gogh; His Mexican cousin - Amee Gogh; His Mexican cousin’s American half brother - Grin Gogh; The nephew who drove a stage coach - Welisfar Gogh; The ballroom dancing aunt - Tan Gogh; The bird lover uncle - Flaming Gogh; His nephew psychoanalyst - E Gogh; The fruit loving cousin - Man Gogh; An aunt who taught positive thinking - Wayto Gogh; The little bouncy nephew - Poe Gogh; and His niece who travels the country in a van - Winne Bay Gogh.

GORDON KINGMA introduced CHRIS FUNK who made an outstanding presentation regarding the Lafayette Rotary Club web site and the information available on it - < www.lafayetterotary.org >. CHRIS, with the utilization of his lap top computer and a LCD (liquid crystal display) projector, was able to show actual web site pictures/examples of the many sources of available Rotary information from Lafayette Club, Rotary International, and other Rotary Clubs. Cards were distributed at the tables for members to complete, if desired, which would provide various e-mail and web site information. Completed cards were collected and at the end of the meeting three “Rotary - www.lafayetterotary.org” T-shirts were awarded. Winners were STEVE PENNELL; JERRY COLE; and VIC LECHTENBERG .

COLLECTORS: JERRY MC CARTHY and MILLARD PLUMLEE; Invocation by GENE COURTANEY; Singing led by MARY HALEY; and Rotary piano by REX KEPLER.
