Harley J. Griffith Jr. died at University Place on May 11, 2014. He joined the Lafayette Rotary Club in 1972 and was Executive Secetary for 21 years until health problems in late 2001 prevented him from executling its myraid responsibilities. Prior to that exceptional service, he served in numerous Board roles and as President (1979-80). In lieu of a eulogy, the Club decided that member and family rememberances of his outstanding service was more in keeping with his philosophies.
