RI is dropping RI-CAS and RI-DAS support!
(see April 21 message from RI General Secretary Ed Futa: http://www.DaCdb.com/RICAS/EdFuta.pdf)
(and the June 12 message extending the deadlines to support RI-CAS: on the Rotary web site )

Fortunately, you have a great alternative: DaCdb (the District and Club database), pronounced "DAK-db"
The DaCdb system already has RI-CAS support built-in, for EZ conversion by your club!
And, the DaCdb system is currently being used by in over 2,200 clubs, (with over 117,000 members on-line.)

Questions: RICAS@DaCdb.com (send us an e-mail); or use our Request Form to submit your Club profile for upgrading consideration.

The DaCdb system is for ROTARY CLUBS; it was specifically designed by a Past District Governor who knows the user's requirements as they pertain to Rotary districts and clubs. And, it has all the following features and functions (plus some exciting new features coming soon). To SEE the screen shot of each feature or function, just click on its associated link (then click on the screen shot image to ZOOM it larger, if necessary).

- On-line access by Club Officers and Members via any Internet connection...
(Password protected, and 9 levels of security built into the system)

- Complete Membership Roster, and Membership Directory with photos (viewable on-line or printed)
(Privacy and Spam protection built in; Members control who sees their contact data). And, because of the "privacy issues" the Membership Directory is "blurred" to protect the members...(thus, your Rotary ID# password is required to view the Membership Directory for phone numbers and e-mail addresses)
.

- Additions, Changes and Terminations to Membership are automatically reported to the RI database
(Makes reconcillation of the SARs much easier and quicker.)

- Changes to Club information automatically reported to the RI database
(e.g. When and Where the Club meets
)

- Club Leadership organized by Rotary year

- Changes for new club officers automatically reported to the RI database, and Official Directory

- Club Calendar of Events: Regular Meetings, Speakers Bureau, Fund Raisers, and other Events

- Post a copy of your Club's Weekly Bulletin on-line (PDF preferred or WORD format)

- Send out Personalized e-mail (PMAIL) to all your club members (calls them by Name).
(PMAIL is the #1 used function after maintaining the membership roster. PMAIL has pre-defined
EZ-templates or use your own, to send personalized messages in just a couple mouse clicks.)
Examples include: MISSED YOU at the Meeting, NEW MEMBER proposed/accepted, MEMBER EZ-LogOn

- Setup all your Club Committees (Board, Membership, Foundation, Club Service, etc) by Rotary year.

- Send out PMAIL to committee members (e.g. Board of Directors).

- Setup Calendar Events that require "registrations". Complete control of monies, headcounts,
payments on-line via credit cards, name badges, and PMAIL functions for the registrants.

- Update your Club member's participation in the Paul Harris Fellows and Sustaining Members for the The Rotary Foundation with a single click.

- Club reports include: Membership Directory, The Rotary Foundation Transmittal, Mailing Labels,
Telephone List, Name Tags (inserts with Bar codes), and many more including #20 design your own report.

- Club Dashboard with Headlines (What's New), Statistics, Attendance and Membership trends,
list of New Members, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Events, etc. all on a single screen.

- Weekly and Monthly Attendance reporting functions for the club and sent to district

- Dues/Invoicing module (E-mail statements to your members via PMAIL; and a pay on-line option is available)

- Use the DaCdb database to populate you club's web site; with uPAGES: user "content management".
see: www.CoralGablesRotary.org (very custom Club website, all pages developed with uPAGE )
or: venice.Rotary-Clubs.org (standard Club website, some uPAGE customization)
or: summerville.Rotary-Clubs.org (standard Club website)

- Links to your District web site.

- Ask us about getting a FREE web site for your club.

And, see our informational web site (www.DaCdb.com), which summarizes many of the systems features, benefits, and functions.  And, if you would like, we can shedule a more detailed "webinar tour" of the system, and show you how the database also integrates into your club's web site with CURRENT information.  This usually takes about 15 minutes, when you can be on-line.  We do not replace your club web site, we just make them better with "current data" from the database. And, each club gets their own identity web page (automatically generated by the database) as part of the WHERE CLUBS MEET function within the club setup.

Also, please take a look in the April 2007 ROTARIAN magazine (page 15, first 2 columns).  It talks about how the "clubs" use the DaCdb system to get organized.  And, like everything else in Rotary, it all starts with the clubs.  Changes made to a "club position", such as President-Elect automatically "bubble up" to the District Presidents-Elect committee, the PETS committee, and also sends their information to RI, for inclusion in the Official Directory.  Likewise, changes to a member record, are automatically sent to the RI database

Okay, so what does it cost? Just $1/day includes the all DaCdb functions outlined here, and the $197 one-time setup fee is waived, if you recommend another club that joins our system.
